Senior Financial Analyst Job Duties:

  • Preparation and presentation of Weekly, Monthly and Quarterly financial reporting
  • Develop and implement FP&A best practices to drive budgeting, analysis, and business insights to support operations leadership
  • Facilitate the annual budgeting process cross functionally by managing data collection, analyzing and validating the information, and communicating trends and drivers to operations leadership and executive leadership.
  • Understand and analyze business unit financial results (M/Q/Y vs. budget, PY) and clearly articulate themes, performance drivers, root cause of variances, and recommendations to enhance business performance when applicable.
  • Manage and coordinate monthly financial analysis presentations to operations leadership.
  • Collaborate across functional departments to drive continuous improvements in reporting, budgeting, and analysis processes.
  • Conduct ad-hoc special projects to assist management in understanding business performance/processes.

Senior Financial Analyst Skills/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting required
  • Advanced degree preferred
  • 3+ years of corporate finance experience
  • Ability to apply finance & accounting fundamentals in practice
  • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills; proficiency working in Excel
  • Attention to detail, planning, organizational and communication skills
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong team player who can collaborate with multiple functions
